Thomas Pellowe to Delafaye with the testimony of Patrick Gredy, a mariner from Ireland. Gredy previously served on a French ship and, after falling ill in Spain, was left behind only to be taken prisoner by John Monnory, a master of a Spanish ship bound for St Andero. The Spanish ship had a cargo of bullets, grenades and other ammunition for the service of the Spanish fleet lying at Ferol and Corunna [Spain]. Gredy reported intelligence of the Duke of Ormond ordering equipment for 21,000 men under his command and of a planned descent into Scotland with support from Sweden and the Czar of Muscovy. Dated at Penzance [Cornwall].
