Sir William Lowther to [Stanhope] reports that Fothergill, a non-juring Parson, is to leave Pontefract for London. Lowther has misgivings about Fothergill's association with Sir Rowland Winn, Justice of the Peace. Refers to an Enclosure of a copy of a 'base reflecting novel against the King'.
