WORK 85
1918-1979
This Series contains WS files from the Ministry of Works, including papers inherited from its predecessor, the Office of Works.
The files relate to the work of Public Health Engineers, who provided advice on drainage, water supply and sanitary facilities at historic sites; Structural Engineers, who provided advice on structural matters at historic sites, where the Ministry of Works either managed them directly or had some input because of their historic nature; and New Works Engineers who provided mechanical and engineering services.
