Name: J Jackson.
Occupation: Fitter.
Place of accident: Barry, Trehafod Shed, Glamorgan.
Injury: Badly bruised first finger of left hand.
Details of accident: When taking left cylinder cover off locomotive Jackson instructed his Helper to heave on rope attached to cover. When doing so, Jackson placed his hand under cover to guide same. The Helper, unable to hold weight let cover drop and Jackson's left hand was caught.
