Name: EG Grant.
Occupation: Pilot Fireman.
Place of accident: Barry, Near Engine Pit Treforest Yard, Glamorgan.
Injury: Sprained left ankle.
Details of accident: When out in traffic on Locomotive 40 they were waiting orders and Grant was getting down from cab of Locomotive to examine the engine lamp when he trod on a piece of clinker and twisted his foot, spraining his ankle which has since swollen.
