This series was opened for the use by a stand alone Devolution Unit in 1997 to advise on the drawing up of Concordats between the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and devolved administrations. It then became the responsibility of European Union Division in 1998, this Division then included the Sustainable Agriculture Strategy in 2001. Latterly it has been the responsibility of European and International Coordination.
