Elizabeth Augusta Warren. When admitted to Greenwich Hospital School: Admitted Date unknown.
Parents' names: William and Ann Warren formerly Davis.
Applicant born 14 August 1819 and baptised 4 September 1819 in the Methodist Chapel in Devonport, Stoke Dameral, Devon. The year of her birth was disputed and claimed to be 14 August 1820. Parents married 24 November 1815 in Stoke Dameral, Devon. Invited to attend the school February/March 1830. In 1833 John Cook of Devonport wanted her to be apprenticed to him until 21 years of age so her true age became an issue.
