Description

This series contains maps and plans, mainly relating to enclosure awards, extracted from various records created by the Court of Common Pleas (CP). The documents range in date from 1775 to 1820, with an amendment made in 1929 to the document which is now MPLL 1/3.

As far as possible, places depicted on maps or drawings are identified in catalogue descriptions by the names given on, or contemporary with, the documents themselves, although spellings have been modernised and standardised to facilitate searching.
