Folio 683. Letter from William Goodacre, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, regrding the appointment of medical officer to the fifth district of the Mansfield Union which became vacant on 29 September 1863. The board, responding to the Board's letter of 21 January 1863, no. 1597, have proceeded to a new election; John Senior Turner has been appointed and on receipt of the usual form will send particulars of the appointment.
Annotated: send form and copies of 36427, 36125 and 39908 for the reservation of the guardians.
