Folio 585. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to the overseers, South Normanton, Mansfield Poor Law Union, regarding the performance of duties by John Eyre, Collector, South Normanton. The Board have written to Eyre stating that his explanation is unsatisfactory. The Board have pointed out to him the necessity of him acting in strict compliance with the regulations relating to his office contained in the order and that they will take serious notice of any neglect in the future. The Board also sent Eyre a copy of the regulations.
