Folios 582-583. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to the overseers of Warsop, Mansfield Poor Law Union, enclosing a copy of a letter sent to Robert Bowler, Assistant Overseer, Warsop, regarding a report from [William Power, District Auditor for Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire] relating to Bowler's not performing his duties as prescribed by the General Orders for Accounts.
The letter in reply to Bowler's letter of the 31 January 1853, states that the board find Bowler's explanation unsatisfactory after letters the Board sent to him on the 28 June 1851 and 13 January 1852 respecting his performance. The Board state that Article 8 is perfectly clear and money should be paid over to the overseers every week unless it is more than £50 when it should be paid to the overseers immediately.
