Folio 208. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board, to Henry Place, Collector, Sutton in Ashfield, Mansfield Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 17 April stating that the overseers of the poor of Sutton in Ashfield had no knowledge of the petition addressed to the Board regarding the effect of the adoption of the 13& 14 Vict c 99 [Small Tenements Rating Act]. The Board ask him to give them the names of the present overseers of the poor of the parish.
