Folio 203. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board, to the overseers of the poor and the overseers of the highways, Sutton in Ashfield, Mansfield Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of their petition of 3 April respecting the effect of the adoption of the small tenements rating act in the parish. The Board state they are not aware that it is within their power as the law at present stands to remedy the grievances referred to.
