Draft letter from the Poor Law Board, to Richard Goulding, Clerk to the Justices, Mansfield Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 15 February stating the case of a pauper in the Mansfield Poor Law Union Workhouse who is to affiliate her child. In answer to his question they state that they see no reason for holding that the residence under 2& 3 sections of the 7& 8 Vict c 101 is anything other than her actual residence.
