Folio 175. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board, to Richard Goulding, Clerk to the Justices, Mansfield Poor Law Union, acknowledging receipt of his letter of 7 January. They state that as the ratepayers of the parish of Sutton in Ashfield have adopted the provisions of the small tenements rating act the overseers must make the next rate in conformity to the statute of 13& 14 Vict c 99.
