Description

Folio 104. Letter from Edward Buckland, William Beecroft, both churchwardens; William Barnes, John Aked, both overseers, to the Poor Law Board, regarding the setting of poor rates for Sutton-in-Ashfield according to 6& 7 William lV c 96, Parochial Assessment Act and 25& 26 Victoria c 103, Union Assessment Committee Act. They think that a map and a survey are needed to make and levy rates.
