Stanyan to Tilson. Encloses Stanhope's dispatches to be laid before Sunderland [not enclosed]. Cadogan had ordered his instructions to be copied and sent to the King too, however Mr Trokells advised Stanyan that 'His Lordship does not go' so Stanyan has not included them. Mentions warrant and deliveries of papers, which involves Mr Bubb, Mr Methuen and Stanhope. Mentions a letter [not enclosed] from Holywell [Wales] brought by a Mr Gale, Commander of Excise. Gale thought it should 'be laid before a Secretary of State; but he could give no further account, as to what the Justices had done with the Rioters'. Dated at Whitehall.
