The Lord Chancellor [William Cowper] and the Duke of Kent [the Lord Steward, Henry Grey] are in town and Stanhope will soon return to Chiswick [Middlesex]. The Lord Chamberlain [Thomas Pelham-Holles] is at Claremont [Surrey]. The warrant for the Constable who had affronted Sohlenthall [the Danish Envoy] was not put into execution, the matter having been resolved. Dated at Whitehall.
