Stating that he cannot find that the Jacobites are making preparations; that Joseph Redshaw, a rebel, made an affidavit against four merchants for drinking the Pretender's health, three of whom, Richard Swinburn, Thomas Robinson and Thomas Anderson, are taken up. Dated at Newcastle. Enclosures:
1. Affidavit of Joseph Redshaw. Copy.
2. List of nonjurors apprehended at Mr Hanby's house in Newcastle.
