Affidavit of William Calderwood, recounting how he discovered a misdirected warrant in favour of George Taylor, while he was working in Preston, Lancashire, in connection with solicitor William Shaw and Sir James Montague. Mentions reprieve for Captain John Bruce, then a prisoner at Lancaster. Dated at Carlisle.
2. Affidavit of Captain William Taylor, recounting his meeting with the Prince of Wales in Portsmouth [Hampshire] and subsequent order to discharging his brother, George Taylor. Also mentions two more brothers; Robert and James Taylor. Dated at Carlisle.
