1. Affidavit of William Cargill, Bailloe of Perth [Perthshire], declaring his knowledge of the person and handwriting of Thomas Black, minister in Perth. Dated at Carlisle.
2. Certification of Thomas Black, minister in Perth, giving character witness for the petitioner, and noting that his father, Patrick Hay, was once provost of Perth.
