Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Robert Weale, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner, acknowledging receipt of his report, dated 15 July 1847, relating to an enquiry into a complaint preferred against a relieving officer and the mater of the workhouse at the Mansfield Poor Law Union, in connection with the case of John Tallents. The Commission forward a copy of a letter they have sent to the board of guardians on the subject [not included].
