To: The General Board of Health.
From: A Haymes, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Leamington [Warwickshire].
Letter enclosing a copy of a resolution passed by the Leamington Local Board of Health on 11 April 1854, with reference to the establishment of waterworks at Leamington, and a copy of the report [not included] of Thomas Wicksteed, Consulting Engineer, in connection therewith. Haymes requests the sanction of the General Board to the borrowing of £14,000 by the Leamington Local Board, on security of the Special District Rate, in order to carry the proposed works of water supply into effect.
