From: The General Board of Health.
Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 8 February 1854. It is stated in reply that 'the purposes to which the General District fund may be applied are all of those purposes of executing the Public Health Act, not expressly provided for, which a Local Board may think proper'.
