To: The General Board of Health.
From: A Haymes, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Leamington [Warwickshire].
Letter advising that the Leamington Local Board of Health wish to establish a Market within their town. Haymes enquires whether the General Board would see any objection to giving their sanction to the borrowing of such a sum as would be necessary for the purpose - 'about £4000 or £5000' - on mortgage of the rates.
