To: The General Board of Health.
From: D Johnson, The District Fire Insurance Company, Leamington [Warwickshire].
Letter advising that he is contemplating applying to the Leamington Local Board of Health for leave to insure the parish property under their control. Johnson enquires whether, by insuring such property (being himself a member of the Local Board), he will be disqualified from continuing to act for such Board under Clause 19 of the Public Health Act 1848.
