Folios 190-191.
To: The General Board of Health.
From: J F Sharp, Surveyor to the Local Board of Health, Leamington [Warwickshire].
Letter advising that he has been instructed by the Leamington Local Board to prepare plans for the construction of certain streets within the district of Leamington. Sharp enquires as to 'how Mr Wickstead's scheme will effect the localities in which they are situate' and whether 'the plans accompanying his last report' can be made available for inspection. He explains that he would not have troubled the General Board if not for the fact that the streets at Leamington are 'now in a deplorable condition', and as 'necessarily much time must elapse before any improvement can be commenced', he thinks it best 'to use every endeavour to commence with the plans immediately'.
