To: Walter Watson, Medical Officer of the Leamington District of the Warwick Union, Leamington [Warwickshire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 25 October 1853, enclosing a copy of a certificate relative to the impure water on certain premises in the parish of Milverton, 'and requesting the instructions of the General Board of Health as to the mode of proceeding to remedy the evil'. Watson is advised to direct his complaint to the Local Board of Health for Leamington.
