Folios 91-100: From the Council Office, dated 14 October 1913, Order in Council - increase in numbers of Accountant Officers, and invitation to Assistant Paymasters, Royal Naval Reserve, to volunteer for one year's service afloat.
Folios 101-103: file reference, 950/2527. From the Vice Admiral Commanding Second and Third Fleets, dated 31 October 1913, reporting that Vincent G. Durman, Clerk, of HMS Implacable, relieved from duty as Captain's Clerk.
Folios 104-105: letter from Captain of HMS Cornwallis at Malta dated 1 November 1913 reporting that the experiment of replacing the Clerk, who performed the duties of Captain's Clerk, by a Firsy Writer has worked satisfactorily, (folio 105), and letter from C. J. Briggs dated 2 November 1913, that a first writer joined to replace E. Brightman, Clerk, on 20 September 1913 and a report will follow.

Briggs, Vice Admiral Commanding Second and Third Fleets, dated 24 April 1914, with an enclosure dated 22 April 1914 from the Captain of HMS Russell at Margate.
