Description

Collection of extracts and cuttings from 'The Locomotive Magazine' bound within paper covers with typed title label on front cover, 'North Eastern Railway Stockton and Darlington Railway Locomotive History [1825-1876] Part 1 Ex 'Locomotive Magazine' [attributed to R H Inness] February 1925 - August 1930, W E H / M W 20 September 1966' giving lists, historical and technical details of most classes of this Railway's locomotives together with line drawings or early photographs of many examples. Contents:

Extract and cutting 14 February 1925 pages 43-45, including a table giving dates of authorisation and opening and other comments for each of the branches which made up the Stockton and Darlington Railway at its amalgamation with the North Eastern Railway on 1 July 1863.
