Envelope mounted on reverse of card divider item 58 with typed caption, 'NER [North Eastern Railway][Class] S3 LNER [London and North Eastern Railway] [Class] B16' containing photographic images of the following [Raven] 4-6-0 locomotives of this Class:
1) Cutting [from 'The Railway Magazine'] undated, monochrome photographic image with printed caption underneath, 'London and North Eastern Railway Up Goods Train Passing Cowton [North Riding of Yorkshire], North Eastern Railway 4-6-0 Goods Engine No 840 Class S3', photograph by W Rogerson [William Rogerson] [image c.1923-1924 still in North Eastern Livery].
2) Cutting from unknown and undated source, monochrome photographic image with printed caption underneath, '[Gascoigne Wood Marshalling Yard, West Riding of Yorkshire to Scarborough, North Riding of Yorkshire] Coal Train Near Kirkham Abbey [East Riding of Yorkshire] LNER [London and North Eastern Railway] 3-Cylinder Locomotive No 845', photograph by Ian C Allen [image June 1932].
3) Cutting from unknown and undated source, monochrome photographic image, locomotive No 846 in North Eastern Railway works photographic grey livery [at Stooperdale Works, Darlington, County Durham when newly built] [image March 1920], see also item 49.
