Envelope mounted on card divider item 58 with typed caption, 'NER [North Eastern Railway] Class S2, LNER [London and North Eastern Railway] Class B15' containing photographic images of the following [Raven] 4-6-0 locomotives:
1) Cutting from unknown and undated source, monochrome photographic image with brief notes and principal dimensions printed underneath, locomotive No 797 in works photographic grey livery [image 1912].
2) Cutting [from 'The Railway Magazine'] undated, monochrome photographic image with printed caption underneath, 'Newcastle [Northumberland]-[London] King's Cross Restaurant Car Express Near York, LNER [London and North Eastern Railway] North Eastern Section Class S2 4-6-0 No 817' with a train of clerestory coaches, photograph by Henry L Salmon [image c.1923-1925].
