Cutting from unknown and undated source, monochrome photographic image with printed caption underneath, 'North Eastern Railway No 730 one of the four-cylinder balanced compound express passenger locomotives 4-4-2 [Atlantic] type just completed at the Gateshead [County Durham] Works by Mr Wilson Worsdell Chief Mechanical Engineer of the North Eastern Railway...constructed on Mr W M Smith's [Walter Mackersie Smith's] [compound] system' followed by brief details of purpose and technical specification [image 1906 in works photographic grey livery at Jarrow Slake, County Durham], same image as items 38 and 44/2, see also items 40, 41, 44/3-44/7.
