Description

Roxburghe to the Board of Ordnance. About Mr Smith's report of the seizure of the masons and quarriers, who were presumed to to have been deserters by the commander at Innersnait after fleeing to Edinburgh. However, on examination it was found they had been threatened with their lives by armed Highlanders.
