Folios 317-318: John Moyle, Surgeon. He was appointed Surgeon with his Mate to the Antelope and another Surgeon and his Mate to his previous ship the St. David, but he was told not to go to the Antelope as the other Surgeon who was made run had been received by the Captain. He understands this was done at the request of Councillor Wright who is the kinsman of the Surgeon and mentions also a Mr. Watts, apothecary. He is now discharged from his own ship, has received no pay and requests that he has an order for appointment to the Antelope.
