Description

Folios 265-266: Captain Christopher Mason, the Oxford, the Downs. His brandy is not yet changed and hopes it will be replaced. Two months provisions have already been spent and he is short of beer and if his men have to drink brandy and water, he fears they will fall sick. His orders are to stay in Virginia for the merchantmen till 20 April so hopes for an additional supply of victuals.
