Folios 251-252: Captain Christopher Mason, the Oxford in the Downs. He reports that the two cables ordered some time since have not arrived, nor has any brandy in lieu of beer come. He requests haste as there are 22 ships bound for Virginia in the Downs and will sail whether he is ready or not. Sir Harry Capell told him that there would certainly be an order for two months provisions more for the ship and that they would stay till the 1st of April. If this is the case he needs 4 months brandy.
