Folio 304. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board, to Joseph Allen and Thomas Wheeler, Overseers of Stoke Prior in the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, acknowledging their letter of 27 October 1963 appealing against the disallowance of £10 which Mr Simkiss [Thomas S Simkiss], the district auditor, made in their accounts for the half year ended at Michaelmas 1862 [21 September 1863].
The Poor Law Board would look into the matter. Meanwhile they required the voucher relating to the payment and also the number of the assessment that was entered into the valuation list.
