Folio 301. Letter from [H Aldham] the Chairman of the Meeting of Ratepayers of Stoke Prior parish in the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, held on 16 January 1863 to the Poor Law Board. The meeting had met to consider the reassessment of Stoke Prior under the Union Assessment Committee Act and unanimously passed a resolution that the assistant overseer should be paid £10 for the extra trouble caused by the reassessment. This proposal was at the time omitted from being recorded in the parish book; it is hoped the omission would not debar the assistant overseer from receiving the sum.
