Folio 215. Letter from Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, informing them that the guardians have appointed Sarah Eccleshall to the situation of nurse at the workhouse for six months on trial at a salary at the rate of £18 a year.
Annotated: Mr Graves [John T Graves, Poor Law Inspector] asked about the enquiry held to investigate complaints about certain officers. Graves replies that the enquiry has been held and the report will be forwarded without delay.
