Letter from Thomas Day, Clerk to the Guardians of the Bromsgrove Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, informing them that the guardians have appointed Susan Roberts to act as a temporary substitute for Elizabeth Dance the schoolmistress at a salary of 12 shillings a week, Dance 'being too unwell from nervous excitement to perform her duties.'
