Sent by Lord Cromer, the British Agency and consulate General, Cairo.

States belief that Egyptian Government have never exercised any authority over Kufra, which is the stronghold of a Senussi sect and that there is therefore no need for them to put forward any claim to it; advises however Intelligence Department should be asked for its opinion.
