Sent by Foreign Office memorandum by Sir Charles Hardinge.

Reports visit from M Paul Cambon who reported that the French Minister for Foreign Affairs had informed Prince Radolin that he had learned of the German démarche at St Petersburg about the Bagdad Railway; as the Concession was German, it was for the Germans to take the initiative, but that the French Government and bankers would be ready to discuss matter with them.
