Folio 592. Letter from Henry Saunders, Clerk to the Guardians of the Kidderminster Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, referring to the appointment of Dr Thursfield [Thomas Thursfield, Medical Officer, Kidderminster Workhouse] as substitute for Mr Stretton [Medical Officer, Kidderminster District 1]. As Thursfield is not being paid for this work, the guardians consider that his appointment should be under article 200 of the General Consolidated Order.
Annotated: the sanction of the Board is not necessary.
