Folio 10: case no. 3, John [Gas?vill], aged 22, marine; taken ill off Carabusa; sick or hurt, sympathetic bubo, a large bubo in left groin with a broad base; put on sick list 25 April 1828, discharged 11 August 1828 to duty.
Folios 10-11: case no. 4, James Henry, aged not stated, seaman; taken ill at Poros; sick or hurt, continued fever, general headache, pain in epigastrium, griping, nuasea and thirst; put on sick list 3 June 1828, discharged 11 June 1828 to duty, exactly one month from the date of his returning to duty, he was seized with violent pain in his head and belly, particularly his forehead and epigastrium. He was discharged on 17 July 1828 to duty.
Folios 11-12: case no. 5, John Irving, aged 25, assistant surgeon; taken ill between Hydra and Carabusa; sick or hurt, fever, he was formerly subject to hemoptysis and late sufferers from sympathetic bubo. Has lately made one in shore excursions, and picnic parties where prudence did not always preside, on the 21st [June] while in a profuse perspiration, Mr Irving fell into a deep pond while in the acts of drawing out a messmate, this day he took some opening medicines but did not complain; put on sick list 25 June 1828, died 7 June [July] 1828 at 7:45 pm.
Folios 13-14: case no. 6, Mr Edward Connor, aged 15, mid shipman; taken ill at Poros; sick or hurt, fever, this boy at all times laboured under bulimia, which I do believe provided more from ill habits than disease; put on sick list 3 June 1828, sent 1 August 1828 to hospiatl at Malta.
Folios 14-16: case no. 7, William Rowden, aged 23, seaman; taken ill off Navarino; sick or hurt, fever; put on sick list 4 July 1828, discharged 24 August 1828 to duty.

Folios 17-18: case no. 9, Andrew Rourke, aged 16, seaman; taken ill off Navarino; sick or hurt, fever, this humble lad has a very extraordinary contenance and is always remarkable for excentricity of character of a then spare habit of a pale brown complexion with large full dark eyes that seem to penetrate what they look upon, eyes prone more to command than to obey, complained of pain in the eyeballs across the fore head, loins and epigastrium; put on sick list 10 July 1828, discharged 21 August 1828 to duty. In this case as well as in many other cases of fever, great benefit resulted from cold having been kept constantly applied to the close shaven scalp more especially over the frontal and parietal bones.
Folio 19: case no. 10, Mr Fredric Bone, aged 40, purser; taken ill off Navarino; sick or hurt, hypochondriasis; put on sick list 23 July 1828, sent 5 August 1828 to sick quarter at Malta.
