Envelope, first of two attached to card typed 'London and South Western Railway ex-Southampton Docks Company' containing monochrome photographic images of shunting engines used in Southampton Docks:
1) Cutting [probably from 'The Locomotive' 1901] with (incorrect) typed caption, London and South Western Railway Manning Wardle 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotive No 407 [photographed by C H Eden at Poole August 1901].
2) Photograph with manuscript caption on reverse, former Southampton Dock Company 0-4-0 saddle tank locomotive 'Vulcan' London and South Western Railway No 0111 at Eastleigh, by H C Casserley 14 April 1922, 9cm x 14cm.
3) Postcard, former Southampton Dock Company 0-4-0 saddle tank 'Bretwalda' photographed by H C Casserley [at Guildford, October 1922], 9cm x 14cm.
4) Photograph with manuscript caption on reverse, former Southampton Dock Company 0-4-0 saddle tank 'Bretwalda' Southern Railway No E0408 photographed by H C Casserley at Eastleigh 16 July 1925, 8cm x 14cm.
