Letter concerning Viscount Townshend's letter of 18 April relating to the case of the detention of HMS Furnace in the port of Danzig as a result of the striking of the master of a merchant vessel who failed to salute the British colours. Recommendations that Sir John Norris (who is gone to the Baltic with his squadron) should have instructions to demand satisfaction for this affront.
