Letter from [Ralph Etwall], Town Clerk of Andover [Hampshire], reporting the widespread belief that large quantities of corn carried daily from Andover, Devizes, Warminster and the vicinity are being bought up by the Government of France to starve this country. Etwall urges the issue of a public contradiction to forestall any violent attempts to prevent the removal of corn from the parishes.
