To: The Home Secretary.
From: John Irwin, Clerk to the Local Board of Health, Denton [Lancashire].
Letter requesting advice respecting the erection of buildings 'formed of timber, with slate roofs, intended for store houses of other business purposes'. Irwin enquires whether the plans of such buildings should be deposited with the Board and be subject to the inspection of the Surveyor.
