The information comprising the Transfer of Knowledge was selected from various parts of the LOCOG organisational structure.
It is likely that the Transfer of Knowledge information was compiled by the Strategic Programmes Department, International Relations Team. The International Relations Team managed:
Olympic and Paralympic Family services, which included the Olympic and Paralympic hotels, secretariat, the IOC/IPC guest programmes, flags, anthems and welcome ceremoniesknowledge management.In addition, the team provided language services for the Games Family and delivered the international and domestic dignitary programmes. This team was chiefly responsible for liaison with the International Olympic Committee which always requests Transfer of Knowledge (ToK) information upon completion of the Olympic Games.
